Summary: Write View initialized to None
Initial Comment:
While searching why issuing the following command
snmpset 112.0.0.1 public ipNetToMediaType.2.112.0.0.254
i 3
the Write View of the returned Access Entry is set to
none in the
vacm_in_view function, but the Read View is set
accordingly to
anonymousView002.
How do the Access Entries get populated?
What is the relationship between the MIB and the Access
Entries?
What is the relationship of the WriteMethod, the MIB
and the
Access Entries?

Everything seems to be working accordingly to the
configuration files and MIBs defintions.
Thanks.

It seems that you are correct, since the community string
sent in the
set request is public. I will try to have the community
string set such that
I will have a read/write priviledge.
I let you know what happens!!

It's a little difficult to tell, but I suspect this
is down to your access control settings.
How have you configured access control in the
snmpd.conf file ?
