Subject:    Can't connect from VB 6.0

I've setup mySQL on Linux and can connect to it via mySQL client for
Win95, but when I try to create a VB app and connect via myODBC it says:

"ODBC database Open failed, check connect info."

Any ideas? Is there some way I can test the ODBC connection with another
app?
