MySQL has very granular security settings.  

1. Check your mysql.user table.  Make sure there is a row for your username,
hostname, and permissions.

2. Update mysql by "mysqladmin -u root -p reload".

3. Check your Windows setup. Make sure it's pointing to the right machine
and port.

All I can think of right now.

Hi Guys!!!

I am using Mysql on Linux and want to see my database through ODBC in
Microsoft Access but when I try to open the connection from Windows It
says ""Call Failed using password "". Please help me regarding this.
