Yes.



However you will need to feed it with the bitmaps which constitute the
mixed signal.  This can be done with DirectShow (part of the DirectX
SDK), but it is NOT terribly easy (actually for that matter you can make
the ASF file with Direct show avoiding WMF SDK totally, except you have
to have a good understanding of WMFSDK to use ASF formats in Direct Show
(sigh).



The task is NOT trivial and I like the suggestion of doing it in
hardware!

Hi All,



I would like to capture 2 video sources, but save it splitted on just
one wmv file  ( half of screen the first source, half of screen the
other source)

I think this is posible to develop using WM Format SDK and somebody told
me I need to build an ActiveX.

Also, It must be posible to do buying capture cards with some kind of
SDK/API to develop a new "virtual video source" which will be half of
each real video source.



Does anyone has done such kind of thing??



Any other ideas on how to make it work?
