In the client directory there is an .exe that when run on the client machine
will modify the registry to cause activations for that component to happen
on the remote server. You do not need to use DCOMCnfg to make this work.

Subject: MTS Remote components

Hi :
I want to remotely instantiate a component using MTS.
I have exported a package to remote machine . It generated a .pak file and
another directory with name client ( donot know what it is ).
I have created a package on remote machine and registerd my component in
it. Now on my client pc I cannot locate any DCOMcnfg type facility that I
can use to describe whether to locally instantiate it or remotely.
I have added the remote computer in my computers list in mtxexp
