Dear Sachin,

The book "Cryptography for Visual Basic: A Programmer's Guide to the
Microsoft CryptoAPI" will answer these questions for you, whether you are
using Visual Basic or some other language.

Chapter 1 will answer you question with respect to the ciphers the
CryptoAPI uses. Chapter 11 will answer you question with respect to the
length and nature of the key phrase you use.
