If you have a gcc that works with -m64, would you be willing to take a
patch to NSS and attempt to build the patched NSS with gcc -m64?
I tried -m64 (with -v), and it failed. Here's the output (after cpp):
/builds/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.6/2.95.2/cc1 /usr/tmp/ccfADT2F.i
-quiet -dumpbase pathsub.c -m64 -g -Wall -Wno-format -version -fPIC -o
/usr/tmp/cci38u9G.s
cc1: -m64 is not supported by this configuration
cc1: -mptr32 not allowed on -m64
GNU C version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) (sparc-sun-solaris2.6) compiled by GNU C
version 2.7.2.1.
pathsub.c: In function `fail':
pathsub.c:84: internal error--unrecognizable insn:
(insn 18 17 19 (set (reg:DI 111)
(high:DI (unspec:DI[
(symbol_ref:DI ("__iob"))
] 0))) -1 (nil)
