Right now there are no install rules for the viewer or the xpviewer. You
need to "cd" to the dist/platform/bin directory (on windows), or the
platform/dist/bin directory (on unix with autoconf) and there you will
find "viewer" (windows) or "main" (unix) or "xpviewer" (both).

On unix, to run it you need to do something like:

env LD_LIBRARY_PATH=.:/usr/lib/:/lib ./main

on windows you can just do

./viewer
