Hi,

I am trying to use kernel-mid-2.6.24 on the crown beach and looking at
the kernel deb package. I have read the debian/rules and debian/*.postinst.

In the installkernel() function in the postinst script, it just updates
the grub configuration files(/etc/grub/menu.lst etc.) but does not copy
the "vmlinuz" to /boot. Is this a bug? Are there any specific reason not
doing so?
