 Oki, I installed Version 0.5.35 of xmltv cause it has the "--icons" option
which enables grabbing of icon-urls ...
 Fetch_channels.py now works fine and in a test file with only "ard" as
channel I get the ard.gif file ;-) Even tried few more channels and
everything works well ... nearly ...
 Although I now have the TV.xml (converted to UTF-8) and the gif, I get no
epg in startmenu!?
 Am a bit confused cause the TV.xml say:
   <channel id="ard.de">
   <display-name lang="de">ARD
 and the gif is called ard.gif ...
 Does the gif has to have the same name as channel id or display-name or
what!?
 After the test I tried to reconfigure mms with --enable-epg instead of
picture-epg to test the TV.xml file ... getting this one (gcc2.95):
 --------------------------------------------------------
 epg.cpp: In method `Epg::Epg()':
 epg.cpp:192: warning: assignment to `int' from `double'
 epg.cpp:195: warning: assignment to `int' from `double'
 epg.cpp: In method `void Epg::find_next_program()':
 epg.cpp:219: non-lvalue in decrement
 epg.cpp: In method `void Epg::print(_List_iterator<Channel,Channel
&,Channel *>, _List_iterator<Channel,Channel &,Channel *>)':
 epg.cpp:535: warning: assignment to `int' from `double'
 make: *** [epg.o] Fehler 1
 --------------------------------------------------------
 So what's the list's gess???
