Trying to load the zr36067 kernel module and I get the following:
# modprobe zr36067 card=7 default_norm=0 default_input=0 debug=4
FATAL: Error inserting zr36067
(/lib/modules/2.6.18.8-0.1-default/kernel/drivers/media/video/zr36067.ko):
No such device
dmesg shows:
Zoran MJPEG board driver version 0.9.5
MJPEG[0]: Zoran ZR36067 (rev 2) irq: 185, memory: 0xde001000
MJPEG[0]: subsystem vendor=0x13ca id=0x4231
Buz[0]: Initializing i2c bus...
i2c-algo-bit.o: (0) scl=1, sda=1
i2c-algo-bit.o: (1) scl=0, sda=0
i2c-algo-bit.o: SCL unexpected low while pulling SDA low!
Buz[0]: find_zr36057() - can't initialize i2c bus
No known MJPEG cards found.
I've tried setting the card parm to all integer values just to see if that
will work but no dice.
lspci -v output gives
02:09.0 Multimedia video controller: Zoran Corporation ZR36057PQC Video
cutting chipset (rev 02)
Subsystem: Iomega Corporation JPEG/TV Card
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 32, IRQ 185
Memory at de001000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
OS is openSUSE 10.2 and uname -r gives (which is the latest):
2.6.18.8-0.1-default
It's confusing that lspci shows the chip as being ZR36057 but I have checked
the board and it is definitely a ZR36067. I there anything else I should be
doing? i2c_core is loaded as a module in this kernel. I have no idea what
the i2c error is, although the source flags it to be just a warning message.
I'm getting nowhere on the Net.
Thanks,
Steve
