Greetings!
This week there is not much to announce, as both
Jukka and I have been very busy with work matters.
Lots of things are going on under the surface however,
and I hope the next few weeks will see the Midgard
project advance in many ways.

Midgard 1.2.3 released
Jukka released the latest stable version of Midgard,
1.2.3 as a continuation to the "Mad King" series.
The version 1.2.3 is pretty much a bug fix release. It
contains some usability and compatibility fixes to the
Admin site, and should also improve the installation
procedure, making solving of setup problems much easier.
It also contains one new minor feature, extending
the mgd_list_topic_calendar to support limited time
frames.
The release is still available only in source format,
but binaries should appear to the download site soon.

FAQ in Midgard Manual
The Midgard FAQ has now been converted to the
DocBook SGML format and added to the Midgard
CVS repository. This also means that it is
available on the Midgard Manual page.
Now the manual is more easily maintainable,
as it is in a more uniform format with the
Function Reference. We also have now four
FAQ maintainers, hopefully helping to keep
the information about Midgard's installation
and usage more current.
The inclusion of the FAQ to our CVS repository
is also the latest development in the
documentation project. Next we will start drafting
the outline for the entire manual. Volunteers
for the work will be appreciated!
You'll find the most current version of the
manual at:
