------- Comment #25 from raul@dias.com.br 2006-08-15 04:57 -------
Had the same problem in several computers after upgrading from 10.1 to 2006.0.

My problem had a small difference, instead of wins, I had hosts in
nsswitch.conf as "files dns ldap". Removing ldap solved without upgrading.

Upgrading to the packages in #24 solved with "ldap" on.

So, why is this packages in community and not as an official upgrade??

FMY, isnt community a pre-official release? If so, why is the package
forwarded there instead of updates?

description:
I just upgraded from 10.2 to 2006.0, and when I boot the machine, it hangs for
about 3 minutes:

Mounting proc filesystem [OK]
Mounting sysfs on /sys [OK]

<-- Here it waits for about 3 minutes -->

ts: Compaq touchscreen protocol output
Starting udev [OK]

I would like to add that I don't have any Compaq hardware (it's a
Fujitsu-Siemens machine), nor any touchscreens.
