no numeric play for audio CD indeed. 
However I believed this was 3.4 material ?

There is no digital playback option in the kscd settings, but according the 
help, it should be there. It's also there on other distros. I looked into source 
codes (digital playback seems to be there), tried to compile whole kde 
multimedia, but it's still not there.
