My workaround for this was to uncomment "alias eh2 orinoco_cs" in etc/modules.conf
as it appears that when booting up, pcmcia_cs and modprobe reverse each
other...I also disabled hardrake at boot...

When I try to configure this adapter I am trapped in a loop.

I start MCC, then go to network and internet, then new connection then wireless
connection then the following loop occurs:

1. Choose a network interface : manual is the only choise
2. NEXT -> choose a network driver : i select prism2_usb
3. NEXT -> driver parameters : i select auto
3. NEXT -> some quick little windows appear and go then I am back to 1.

while going through steps 1-4 I have the following in the syslog:
