OK. I've got a machine that has a serious problem, the rpmdb is corrupted bad. 
I've tried doing a rpm --rebuilddb, but no luck at all. Any ideas how I could 
respawn the db? I'll admit that I really can't see any way around this other 
than reinstalling, but I really am not looking forward to it.
