i understand the problem now.

i have soft link /trash/ -> /tmp/trash.rm/
and /trash in preferences for temporaries. lyx works correctly with this
setting but xdvi returns /tmp/trash.rm/.

the condition in LFUN_SERVER_GOTO_FILE_ROW handling

if (prefixIs(file_name, package().temp_dir().absFilename()))

has:
filename:
/tmp/trash.rm/lyx_tmpdir.XM7372/lyx_tmpbuf0/Tutorial.tex
package().temp_dir().absFilename():
/trash/lyx_tmpdir.XM7372

i dont fully understand the purpose of condition above
