    Now I see this in the included HTML documentation (normalterm.htm).
^^;  Sorry I missed it.  I read this in the autoconf configuration help:

imacat@rinse src/LPRng-3.8.19 % ./configure --help
...
  --with-done_jobs_max_age=N        retain job status N seconds, default 0 - no
expiry
...
imacat@rinse src/LPRng-3.8.19 % 

    And set done_jobs_max_age to 1 for a minimal expiry.  Apparently
this is wrong.  If I did not misunderstand this help message, maybe this
documentation problem can be fixed.
