Hello folks,

Now that I'm using this on several systems at Stanford and it seems to do
what I want, I thought I'd release my script to monitor multilog logs,
particularly qmail ones (but it should work for any logs managed by
multilog in a directory with TAI64N timestamps). This is a fairly simple
program that takes a configuration file with a list of regular expressions
for log entries that aren't particularly interesting and mails the rest to
a configured address.

I run this out of cron every hour on all the systems on which I run qmail.
I prefer to use this method rather than to use some of the built-in error
reporting of multilog for a variety of reasons; I find it more convenient.

You can get the program and the documentation at:

Any feedback or contributions would be gratefully accepted.
