Hi Folks,

Sorry to bother!
I have a problem when using net-snmp to configure Alteon 2008,like change
the IP address of a real server.
For example, the IP Addr of the 7th real server is the 10.10.10.7 and I want
to change it to 10.10.10.9. After using
" snmpset -v2c -c private switch-IPAddr
.1.3.6.1.4.1.1872.2.5.4.1.1.2.2.1.2.7  IpAddress 10.10.10.9 ",  I got the
following result:

Error in packet.
Reason: notWritable (That object does not support modification)
Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1872.2.5.4.1.1.2.2.1.2.7

It seems that this real server's IP is not writable.

But I have made the access level to "read-write" using "/cfg/sys/access/snmp
w". By the way, it works correctly when I want to read the IP address of
this real server.
Do I have configure other options for it to be writable?

Thanks a lot!

Cheers,
Qian
