Hello,

I've been trying to put together a machine from old+new stuff.

	SuperMicro P6DOF [Orion chipset]
	2x Pentium Pro 166
	256MB (32MBx8) parity
	Tekram 390F (SCSI-UW, NCR875)
	DE-220 ISA NE2000 clone
	Matrox Mill2 PCI 8M

	Red Hat 5.1, kernel 2.1.117

I already wrote to the SuperMicro tech support, but figure that
I should ask around with the symptoms that I get.

	* I can run the machine with either a PPro stepping 7, or a
PPro stepping 9, in either socket, matching either VRM.

[Linux 2.1.117, dual CPU version, boots and run fine.]

	* I can boot the machine just fine with either a stepping 7
and a stepping 9, or two stepping 7's [I have two stepping
7's and one stepping 9] but the machine will only see the
CPU in the first socket, marked `CPU 1' on the board.

If anyone else is using this board, can someone tell me what
kind of a problem this could possibly be other than that of
	the hardware on the motherboard.

	Thanks for any assistance/hints/tips

						Yours, Bo-Yin Yang
