hi ,
  i am using 2.4.18-27.x.smp kernel and my motherboad
has intel ethernet express (eepro100) and  it gives
out "NETDEV WATCHDOG eth0:  requested time out"
error... so i disabled apic by passing the kernel
parameter "noapic".. my queries are.. 

*) is there any way to get arround this problem?
*) does "noapic" functionallity reduces the performace
of m/c?
