Subject:    Lock problem after installing Samba

I just download  "samba-2.0.5a.tar.gz"  


After I install it there is lock problem with file system !

I can not edit any file.  When I want to change password also there is
classic erro "Connat lock the file system; bla bla bla"

Do you have any experience like that and do you have any suggestions ?
