Hi guys !
I think I'm in big trouble.
I hope that somebody in this list can help me in my problem.
The facts:
Until today whole my Red Hat 5.2 linux box (dial-in server) works fine.
In this morning the UPS have broken and my box has an anormaly shut
down.
After that, when somebody tried to dial in our server disconnected him
and in logs appeared something like this:

Mar 11 00:26:07 frontier mgetty[531]: data dev=ttyC6, pid=531,
caller='none', conn='24000/ARQ/VFC/LAPM/V42BIS', name='',
cmd='/usr/sbin/pppd', user='/AutoPPP/'
Mar 11 00:26:07 frontier pppd[531]: pppd 2.3.5 started by LOGIN, uid 0
Mar 11 00:26:07 frontier pppd[531]: Using interface ppp0
Mar 11 00:26:07 frontier pppd[531]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyC6
Mar 11 00:26:10 frontier pppd[531]: user testacua logged in
Mar 11 00:26:49 frontier pppd[531]: Hangup (SIGHUP)
Mar 11 00:28:40 frontier pppd[531]: write: warning: Input/output
error(5)
Mar 11 00:28:40 frontier pppd[531]: write: warning: Input/output
error(5)
Mar 11 00:28:40 frontier pppd[531]: ioctl(PPPIOCSASYNCMAP): Input/output
error(5)
Mar 11 00:28:40 frontier pppd[531]: Exit.

So, the problem I think is PPPIOCSASYBCMAP and PPP0.
Please help me if you know something about this.

TIA
Maria
