can a known plaintext attack be made impossible by creating 2 loopback
crypto devices, one on the other one? for example:

losetup -e AES128 /dev/loop0 /dev/hdb
losetup -e AES128 /dev/loop1 /dev/loop0
mount -t ext2 /dev/loop1 /mnt/crypto
