All,

I am using Netscape DS 4.13 and I have a pretty basic question about 
referrals I was hoping someone could answer.  Suppose I have a master 
and a consumer.  I replicate the entire DIT down to the consumer.  I 
want general reads to happen to the consumer but updates, obviously, to 
the master.  Can I simply use a referral on the consumer and this will 
happen automatically or if I use the referral will both reads and writes 
go back to the master.
