Hello,

My name is Lee. I'm a long time Kate user with a feature idea.

Would it be easy to add a 'line edit date' to the editor border? I use Kate
for writing notes, PHP scripts and BASH scripts. Being able to clearly see
which line was edited when would make life so much easier.

Had a quick look at the Kate plugin API but I'm not familiar with Python so
thought I'd send you an email to ask for pointers.
