Hi,
I am trying to install kate on HOME directory, on a Cent-OS 6.3 machine.
Latest KDE version available for the Cent-OS is 4.3.4. The supported
version of Kate for this KDE is I think Kate-3.3.4.
The pre-requisite on my machine are -
KDE-4.3.4
Git - 1.7.1
CMake- 2.6.4
I am unable to get the source ( tarball) for the kate-3.3.4.
When I saw

Here the condition mentioned is to have KDE>=4.4. So I am unable to
compile the source mentioned. (git://gitorious.org/kate/kate.git ) .
Please let me know how to have Kate compiled from source, with the
mentioned availabilities.
