Speak for yourself, I use kwrite for coding all the time :-). But we 
could probably hide them unless "developer mode" is enabled.

Wait, why do we still have "use placeholders", can't that be merged with 
"regular expressions"/"escape sequences"? (And even if not, shouldn't it 
be named something more like "use escapes"?)

(Why are we CC'ing k-c-d and not kwrite-devel??)
