Summary: losing data using fish:// protocol
           Product: kate
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: alan.ezust gmail com

Version: 2.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-3 (4.0))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.29-promisc

I am editing a remote file. Loading it is fine,
but as soon as I try to save it, the contents of the remote file is wiped out.

I'm trying to communicate with an ssh server running
OpenSSH_4.3p2, OpenSSL 0.9.8b 04 May 2006

This is reproducible. I can open any file over fish:// on this host, but saving it \
clobbers the old data and saves an empty file. \
