I just upgraded from... i forget what version I had before.. and now all programs \
that use katepart for the text widget are extremely slow to redraw. Scrolling with \
the mouse wheel is choppy and maxes out the cpu. Moving another window over the \
katepart widget also maxes out the cpu. Other KDE apps appear to be fine.

Scrolling with the cursor (holding down an arrow key) is not as slow, but still slow \
compared to the last version.  Also, scrolling by dragging the scroll bar is \
responsive, but it's obvious that the drawing widget is having trouble with the \
scrollbar. _______________________________________________
