I just upgraded from... i forget what version I had before.. and now all programs that use katepart for the text widget are extremely slow to redraw. Scrolling with the mouse wheel is choppy and maxes out the cpu. Moving another window over the katepart widget also maxes out the cpu. Other KDE apps appear to be fine.

Scrolling with the cursor (holding down an arrow key) is not as slow, but still slow compared to the last version.  Also, scrolling by dragging the scroll bar is responsive, but it's obvious that the drawing widget is having trouble with the scrollbar.
