when running the option "effectuate end of line in the document" (version here is \
french), it adds end of line in the middle of long comments that leads (of course) to \
many errors. It should behave diferently, for example commenting those lines etc...

how to reproduce create a prog.c (with a valid short program) file with a long \
comment and run  "effectuate end of line in the document"

this would lead to uncommented comment.... and compilation errors!
(this of course even worse when the comments are all along the program!!)
