kde-workspace/kwin/effects/[desktopgrid|presentwindows]
have a look at *.cpp:~600 for some hook into the code and feel free to ask  
on

patch requests are best handled at http://git.reviewboard.kde.org/ so get  
yourself an account there and upload your patch.
also ensure to "git checkout master; git branch my_first_branch; git  
checkout my_first_branch" and work there
(most important is that you operate on current git master, using an extra  
branch will just make things easier when your work takes longer)
