I was also about to say something. While spam is of course a generic 
problem, I've also noticed recently that the kwin list has more than its 
fair share compared to other lists I follow.

And seriously, it's not the absolute amount of spam from a list, or the 
amount relative to some particular person's total spam volume, that's 
relevant... it's the signal-to-noise ratio for a list that matters. 
Right now, kwin's ratio is somewhere around 60%, whereas most of the KDE 
lists I follow are 95-100%. Too low of a S:N can become a 
self-sustaining cycle.
