Using Java 1.5 under KDE, windows are randomly created in rolled up mode (only the \
title bar is shown).  Then, if we click on the window's kwin menu, we can see that \
the "rolled up" feature is selected. If we de-select this feature, sometimes the \
window gets correctly restored, but sometimes it remains rolled up (and sometimes the \
window decorations disappear and the window contents gets maximized, filling the full \
screen).

The problem can be triggered using the latest version of our application:

It requieres JAI and Java Image I/O libraries to be installed on the top of Java 1.5.

We didn't have this problem with Java 1.4, so probably it's a Java 1.5 bug, but I \
wanted to know the opinion of KWin developers. The problem does not happen in Windows \
or Gnome.

By the way... is there a way to disable the rolled-up mode? That would be a useful \
workaround, because I don't expect any quick response from Sun... \
