This doesn't cause the functionality to work as we (the original poster and
I, at least) would like; the behavior we're looking for is like under
Windows, where just pressing Win brings up the Start menu, but it can also
be pressed with other keys as a modifier. It seems that in KDE, if it's set
as a modifier, it can't be bound to anything by itself - for example, the K
menu. Or is there a way to do that that we're missing?
