I had similar problems when I tried to muck around with data bases for
existing applications. I think that the bug is that the writeRecord code
doesn't update the information in the database record descriptor properly.

Subject: Is this a bug? (KVM Databases)

Hi:

I found a problem when using databases. I can create the database, modify
it, insert & delete records, retrieve them, list them, etc. But then in the
Palm IIIe, when I try to delete any program (by pressing the Delete function
in the Menu), a Fatal Error dialog appears prompting me to reset the crashed
machine.

Maybe the created database is not being recognized by the palm file manager
because I'm using an incorrect TypeID, I guess. Can the TypeID be anything,
as long as it is being converted properly?

Has anyone had the same problem?

I appreciate your help.

By the way, the kawt 0.2 is great, and I'm looking forward on new
releases...
