Some IRC servers (e.g. irc.sorcery.net) kick off kopete after a short time, \
apparently due to a PING that doesn't get a response. Here's the relevant portion of \
a packet dump from the connection:

> NOTICE elfchief :*** If you are having problems connecting due to ping timeouts, \
> please type /notice 39CAE076 nospoof now.
> PING :39CAE076
[...60 seconds pass...]
> ERROR :Closing Link: elfchief[64.171.x.x] (ping timeout)

(Note the lack of ping response)


The relevant bit of kopete deubbing output:
