I have heard this before and never really understood it. Isn't an SMS user always
"online", just as an E-Mail user would be? They will always eventually get the message...
it is really no different from ICQ Offline in this respect.

I don't get why unknown should be higher than offline, nor do I get why SMS should be unknown
at all. Unknown to me is indicative of some kind of protocol error, that is the first thing I think
of when I hear "unknown status".
