You wont "emulate" resources in all protocols, you will have resources in 
Kopete in the same way Kopete is multiprotocol and jaber can do more 
protocols too.

We woould have a Kopete Contat , just a person, but it would have 1 resource 
per protocol he is reachable (every plugin is a resource), by th other hand, 
jabber resources will end being sub-resources :-)

if Kopete ends as trillian I will move all plugins into libkopete and bye bye 
plugin system. :-)
