Also note that the KIO is not smart enough to try a LIST if RETR failed or
vice versa. As a result it is not able to follow directory symlinks.

Example:
Index of /pub on ftp.somewhere:21
2002 Jun 20 22:18 Link Kernel -> ../pub/kernels/2.4/linux-2.4.18/

will result in following ftp://ftp.somewhere:21/pub/Kernel which has no
slash at end. RETR of this one will fail. Instead it should try to LIST
ftp://ftp.somewhere:21/pub/Kernel/
