As soon as I manage to build from CVS sources I'll integrate some of my
patches. I really don't want to modify the CVS without being fairly
confident it won't screw up something else.
Sending data is more difficult (since Konq/E has no support for POST) but
GET should work properly.

Subject: How to implement user protocols?
Hi,
is there another way to implement a user defined protocol besides the method
described in the "sort-of FAQ" ?
My task is this: implement a protocol where the konq-e sends some data to a
daemon (using a socket) and let konq-e display some kind of XML data
received through another socket.
