Subject: Can't use default midi player - when replaced with KMidi (Midi synth), \
                konqueror crashes
From: mgolden@mitchgolden.com

Package: konqueror
Version: 2.1.1 (using KDE 2.1.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.0
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-79)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Red Hat 7.1 (2.4 kernel)

The default midi player, which I believe is kmid, cannot open the /dev/sequencer on \
my machine. When I open the application outside of konqueror, it tells me that most \
modern machines don't have a supported FM chip. Accordingly, I changed the embedded \
application to kmidi (Midi Synth). The file plays, but when (during play) I tried to \
change directories, the browser crashed.
