Summary: anchor tags supress style of parent tags
           Product: konqueror
           Version: 3.1.3
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konq-bugs@kde.org
        ReportedBy: spambox@alcopop.org

Version: 3.1.3 (using KDE KDE 3.1.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Consider this test example: http://toast.debian.net/~jmtd/konq3/ (valid xhtml/css)

There is a repeated 'chunk' of HTML that differs only in that the latter does not \
include anchor (<A>) tags. The style defined for the parent tags (ul li) is rendered \
correctly in the latter case, and completely ignored in the former case.

It appears that konqueror 'forgets' the style information for the parent tag when it \
sees an anchor.

Ideally, the top and bottom sections should look the same, with the exception of the \
konqueror-defined style for the anchor (e.g. blue text with underlines) for the top \
section. _______________________________________________
