Subject: khtml table render layout width
From: hagbard@tao-group.com

Package: khtml
Version: 3.0 (using KDE 2.1.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.1-final-0.potato1 (2.2)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 20000220 (Debian GNU/Linux)
OS: Linux 2.2.18pre21 i686
OS/Compiler notes:

The rendering the following piece of html involving nested tables, Konqueror doesn't \
get the spacing of the cells of the inner table correct. According to the HTML the \
cells should appear vertically aligned above each other (which is what Netscape/IE \
do) but in Konqueror the lower table cell widths vary and ultimately don't match the \
upper table correctly.

At a guess this is either related to the interpretation of the HTML (perhaps KHTML is \
asigning unused space in the ratio defined in the HTML, rather than overall available \
space) or possibly to the whole concept of nested tables.
