According to the HTML the cells should appear vertically aligned above each other (which is what Netscape/IE do) but in Konqueror the lower table cell widths vary and ultimately don't match the upper table correctly. At a guess this is either related to the interpretation of the HTML (perhaps KHTML is asigning unused space in the ratio defined in the HTML, rather than overall available space) or possibly to the whole concept of nested tables.
