The crash has been fixed meanwhile. Does the partial rendering happen only for 
JPEGs or for different image types as well?
Can you view JPEGs on web sites with Konqueror? What Qt version are you using? 
What libjpeg version? What options did you compile Qt with if you did it 
yourself?
