Your message with subj: <script> block with newline in quoted string makes page fail

This is fixed in the current Konqueror (CVS HEAD).
The page contents appears, though the script gives a parse error.
Note that at least Netscape gives a parse error too.

Subject: <script> block with newline in quoted string makes page fail
From: james@jmarshall.com

Package: kjs
Version: KDE 2.2.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: (obtained from SuSE RPM's)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: SuSE 7.2, Linux 2.4.4 kernel

In a <script>...</script> block, if there is a quoted string that has a line break in \
the middle of it, then the remainder of the page does not render. This happens even \
if JS is turned off. Here's a short test page (note the literal line break between \
"text" and "here":

<html><body>

<SCRIPT language="JavaScript"> document.write('text
here'); </SCRIPT>

<p>This should display, but doesn't.

</body></html>

I apologize for not testing with the latest version of Konqueror, but I tried for \
many hours to upgrade it, unsuccessfully (many dependency problems).

Thanks,
James
