I'd be happy to debug this crash (any chance for adddebug in qt3stuff ? ;-)
but I'm hitting another crash before (due to an abort() I added locally in case
of QGArray::at() out of bounds, to help fix such problems ;-)

Shaheed: somehow the KWord file you generate has a paragraph with
<TEXT>^A</TEXT>  (grmbl, didn't we get rid of those control characters ?)
and
<FORMAT id="6" pos="16" len="1">
<ANCHOR type="frameset" instance="Object 1"/>
</FORMAT>

The pos="16" here is what causes the out-of-bounds array access,
since the paragraph has 0 (well, 1) character.
There is even <FORMAT id="1" pos="0" len="1">  and <FORMAT id="1" pos="1" len="15"> 
before that, so it really looks like it's the text that's missing ?
